This is a true story. Last year we moved to an older house. I was 14, and I was sitting in the living room on the couch. My room is on the left and if you sit on the edge of the couch you can look right in. My sister had just left, and the doors and windows were closed.

As I was sitting there watching TV, something told me to look at my room. I’m the kind of person that hates when someone is in their room. When I looked, I saw a woman walk from my closet, to my computer. At first I thought it was my sister, and about to scream “Get out my room,” then I remembered, she just walked out.

At that point, I was almost too scared to move, but I’m a New Yorker. I got up slowly, went to the door, opened it. Opened all the windows, anything that would let light in. Nothing has happened since that time.
