First, let me assure you that this story is absolutely true, and was also experienced by my friend, Simone.

We first discovered the “Cloakroom Ghost” one day in 2005. The exact time and date I cannot remember, but I think it was in September or November. Me and my friend Simone are interested in ghosts and started a club called Wite Nite (it is meant to be spelt like that), and nothing seemed to be happening, so you can imagine how excited I was when Simone told me about the ghost.

She said she heard squeaking footsteps in the cloakroom when she was standing still, and coats swayed and sometimes even fell from coat pegs. We decided to investigate further. We werent dissapointed. The cloakroom door started to lock itself when there were people inside, and it would only open of its own accord, as the key wouldnt open it.

This is the most exciting bit. I was at a lunch-time club, and Simone was getting her coat, when she heard the footsteps. She turned, and suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, saw a flash of an old woman in a long coat with short hair. It was only a flash and it only lasted a split second, but it was enough to know that there definitely is a ghost there.

You don’t hear the squeaking anymore but I have been locked in the cloakroom once or twice with my friends and you always feel that there is someone out of place there. Always. I want to tell you also that we think ghosts go through walls because there used to be a door there.
