Hi there!
I actually haven’t seen a story from South Africa. So here goes…
In September 2003 I was working for a company in Pretoria, Gauteng. They work with exhausts for cars.
One night I was working alone in the office. I was waiting for my boyfriend who was a Rep for them at the stage. Now the toilet is right at the back of the wall, where my desk was.
It was around 7 at night when I heard it. The toilet got flushed!. You could actually hear it when somebody did. Seeing that I was alone there, I thought it was just my imagination. After about 10 minutes, I heard somebody was counting clamps (that holds the exhaust together). This really freaked me out and I got the destinct feeling that somebody was watching me.
I ran out as quickly as I could. I didn’t tell anybody about it, until the following afternoon.
One of the black guys working in the warehouse asked me why I threw the clamps out of the box. I then told him what happened the previous night. He said that sometimes, when he comes in, in the mornings, the exhaust boxes would lay on the floor (it can’t fall of without any help) and the clamps of course would lay on the floor.
This is a really strange story I know. But what could have happened for this “thing” to go around, flushing toilets and throw thing to the ground?
