Hi, I am new to the site, and I wanted to contact you about a story of which I would like to share. This story takes place in Mobile, Al. between 2000-2002, I believe.
The name of this story is – Knock 3 Times:
This happened after the passing of an uncle in a car crash. I remember being on the computer late that evening talking with a friend, and it was around mid-night when I heard 3 distinct knocks at the front door. Now being that it was already so late, I’d decided not to answer it, but instead looked through the curtains, and peeking through the blinds out onto the car-port, I saw no-one. “Now, this is wierd”, I thought. I knew for a fact that I had heard the three knocks, no question!
Well later on, (“I hadn’t been asleep for to long”,) when I’d awoke to the sound of all this commotion coming in from the den. I remember then my mother walking into my bedroom, and telling me that both her and my step-father had to go to the morgue to identify my uncle’s body.
Now being that I had just awoke from this dream where my uncle was waving good-bye, I found this a bit odd! Anyway, to this day I believe that the 3 knocks at the door was my uncle saying good-bye, I think that is what the dream and the knocking meant. My grand-mother also admitted to me once that she had also heard someone knocking at their front door, always late in the evening. However, this is not my only paranormal experience. I have had many.
I have recently included all of these experiences in a book. This book is called: Psychic Limbo, and may be found at Wasteland Press (online), it is in the Sci-fi / Fantasy section.
Many of what has peeked my interest in the occult / supernatural is that I myself have had experiences with what some refer to as “Shadow-Beings”. At times, I still think that I see these Entities out of the corner of my eyes. I have a story about this that is on the net, the story is called ‘Grim’. Detailing my very first experience with this phenomena, ever increasing in exposure, now being quite common. (Thanks, Melissa)
